This is the first post on my new blog. Yup. I am more comfortable with a shovel, dahlias and compost. More comfortable with buckets of cut dahlia flowers than being a word peddler but… hey, sometimes you just have to leap! And keep going.

Today is the day. The day we are starting our dahlia friendship and share the ins, outs, and roundabouts of these lovely, living things.

Why today?

1. Because the dahlias are thriving!

2. Because it feels good to be inside a few moments next to the fan.

3. Because who cares if I am a mess with metaphors and pinafores. This is about dahlias.
